*** Black Sheep fetches the popcorn***
I would have heard the New Zealand version of that talk. It was probably the same transcript worldwide.

many of them came down to have relations with women.
does that mean there are male angels?
if there are male and female, what makes them that with no physical body?
There was a very funny discussion some years ago titled something like 'Jehovah's useless penis', It was deleted and reinstated at least once and appears to be permanently gone, which is a shame because it highlighted the extreme lengths some people will go to, to massage sense from the ridiculous. Maybe my search skills aren't what they used to be and it is still here but I just can't find it?
God made man in his image, so Adam didn't have a penis and there would have been no childbirth pain because Eve wasn't made with human kind's current female bits, etc....
you will die.
i will die.
those who have gone before us, the great and the small, the powerful and the weak, have shared the common fate of dying.
I won't argue with any of that Doug.
it's been an emotional few weeks going through old watchtower literature, i mean old.
i have saved many things, some you have never seen.
particularly related to 1975, i have wts literature, even a big newspaper article about the 1975 prediction.. today, i started going through the reel to reel tapes.
I'd like to hear the tapes, but at the same time, I'd probably want to puke hearing that old garbage over again.
After being proud of their comprehensive collection of WT literature going back to the first edition of the WT, my family got rid of most of the older literature when they realized why I was interested in it.
i just woke up and i'm new on here.
if your an unbaptized publisher can you be disfellowshipped or dissociated?
please send me a message.
I suggest that you don't do anything different until you have a solid exit plan. That plan is different for everyone depending on their circumstances and what they want to achieve. If you have family still in, don't be in a hurry to put on a Big Scary Apostate Hat and go scaring the bejeesus out of them.
humans are basically social animals.
see most any isolated mammal, whether in a zoo or even an outcast of its pride and you'll see one mentally disturbed creature.
maybe, after this pandemic has faded and humans are able to interact once more, some jw's might think twice before being so quick to shun.
Because so many are using Zoom, they are more connected now than they were before.
what happened to all those new printing presses?
the wt said they were going to double the amount of mag's every month.
i wonder what ever happened.
Have you got a reference for that statement?
since this virus, i have noticed that nearly all of the take out joints in my area are closed.
.
If we want Chinese, we will have to make it. All of the restaurants and takeouts here are closed.
my dad just became mistrial servant should i move out i’m almost 18. what the hell should i do?
.
I presume you are still unbaptized. Keep it that way.
Don't be argumentative and don't express opinions contrary to his belief system. You can ask questions, but always remember that you are playing a game of psychological warfare, that you haven't been trained for, with someone who has been trained for it, so be careful not to portray yourself as Satan's Minion.
Because I never got baptized, I managed to maintain a civil, but dysfunctional, relationship with my parents until they died. It wasn't easy, but it was better than some of the dragged out train wrecks that I know of.
it was amusing the other evening on the local news to see the increase of drinking due likely to people having to basically stay at home.. the news crew went out on recycle day in a couple of areas during the week.
they showed the general neighborhoods (but not the specific houses).
the reporter walked down the street and looked into the recycle bins.
Had they been snooping around those street's bins this time last year?
NZ is different again. Most bottle stores selling spirits are closed, so if you want top shelf and didn't have a well stocked cellar before the lockdown and don't live in one of the few areas where you can go and stand in a queue for hours to get your favorite whiskey/whatever, you're out of luck.
